My prediction was thankfully wrong – Marie Osmond didn’t win Dancing with the Stars and Helio did!

It’s probably not a good statement on my intellect to admit I have a penchant for reality TV but I do. So sue me. Anyway, why the hell is Marie Osmond still on Dancing with the Stars? She was just revealed as the first one to be moving on to the semi-finals. She’s hands-down the worst dancer talent-wise left  - I’m surprised she is still on – other more talented dancers have been voted off. But then I gave it some thought. She’s still left because of the Osmond Cartel. The Osmond family has a huge, cult-like following coming out en masse to vote for her. Sure she’s sweet and has a great smile, but I’m predicting today that next week she will beat out 2 other more talented individuals to win because it’s a popularity contest and the Osmond family has an army of loyal fans voting and revoting. I’m Helio all the way – go Helio! If he goes home tonight I’m not watching another episode.
